Difference between PyCharm 5.0.5 and 2016.2

Hi PyCharm,

What is the difference between the two professional versions and why do you have them?

5.0.5 is an older, outdated version using the previous numbering scheme. 2016.2.3 is the latest version, using the new numbering scheme (where the first 4 digits are the year of the release.)
