Django templates

Hello odd,

In the current version of PyCharm, there's no explicit UI for configuring

Django support. It's autodetected if you use the standard project layout,

and if you don't, the only way to configure this is to open the same project

in IntelliJ + Python plugin and add the Django facet.

Obviously, the configuration UI will be added in one of the nearest builds.

I have opened an existing djangoproject in pyCharm, how can i make the

templates be aware of djanosyntax, i.e. autocomplete etc?

I can open the project in IntelliJ, and I see the Django facet in the Facets listing, but there's no configuration options when I click it. Is it suppose to be like this? How can I make the autocpmplete of the djangotemplates work in IntelliJ?

Hello odd,

You need to select your module and press the button to add the Django

facet, and then you'll be able to specify the templates directory. After

you do that, you can open the same project in PyCharm, and autocompletion

will work there as well.

Now I have added the facet to the module, and specified my templates directory, but still no recognition of django template syntax. Anything else I have to do?
