How to get Subversion over SSH working?

I really like what I see in PyCharm, but I can't figure how to get Subversion over SSH working, and that's a deal-breaker for me. Whenever I attempt any sort of Subversion action I get a message "Not Logged Into Subversion". The "Click to fix" link brings up a dialog with login details - but these are not how I access the Subversion repository. Even if I put my SSH key and passphrase in the dialog it still doesn't work (and I have serious issues with storing my ssh passphrase in PyCharm's configuration file...)
