Hi,

First I really have to thank you guys for a great IDE. I hope to move over completely within the next few weeks. One question I had (being a user of WingIde) I am wondering if it's possible to have the autocomplete box open every time I type and autocomplete everything (besides for quoted text)?

Hello James,

Right now there's no such option in PyCharm, and we don't think it will be

added before the 1.0 release. (Our completion functionality was not designed

with this mode of operation in mind, and it would likely require significant

redesign before it could be used in this mode with good performance and without

causing annoyances.) What you can do is to configure the autocompletion to

pop up after a dot has been typed.
