Darcula theme not working properly

Every time that I start AppCode the code editor is dark however all the other components are bright. Changing the theme to default and back to darcula fixes it. However this needs to be done again and again which is quite annoying.

It previously worked correctly. In the last days I've updated to v3.0.6, updated the OS to 10.10 and also update to Java 7...
