Pycharm Does Not Remember Recent Files

I'm running the latest version of Pycharm on OS X 10.6 and PyCharm does not record my

recent files.

I'm also running it on a OS X 10.5 machine on which the recent files feature works.

I've looked through the settings and can't see anything that might explain it.

The only tricky thing on my side is that I run Dropbox (http://dropbox.com) to sync up my project on my two macs.

The 10.6 mac may be reading a resource file from the 10.5 mac that is confusing it (?). But the problem

continues even when I stick to the 10.6 mac for days at a time and leave the 10.5 mac turned off, so I

kind of doubt Dropbox is the problem.
