Safely remove old release on Mac OSX

Hi Dears,

I would know if is it possible to remove old release of PyCharm from a Mac OSX when I've downloaded and installed a now working release.

If is it possible: which is the best procedure to use in order to obtain a clean disinstallation?

Hello Dario,

If the old release has the same major version number as the new one, you

can simply delete the directory from Applications; there will be no left-over

files in any other place.
