Support Django 1.4 in PyCharm 1.5.4

I've question related with one of the older version of PyCharm. Is it possible to use Django 1.4 with PyChrm 1.5.4? When I'm creating new, empty project and launching syncdb I've some errors. I'm not sure if is't possible to use older version of PyCharm with newest framework version out of box. I know that in Django 1.4 were introduced some changes in project structure. Do you have nay suggestions or experience?
