"Bad CPU type in application"
I would be so great to use AppCode IDE instead of XCode, but I just can not. It seems that some (if not all) of it's internal utilities constantly crash with an error "Bad CPU type in executable". I get one of these errors at startup and each time I try to launch an application in a simulator (I get "/Applications/appCode-106.385.app/bin/simlauncher" (in directory "/Users/roland/another"): error=86, Bad CPU type in executable). Google did not help me in investigating this problem, but it seems that it may appear because of my CPU is 32 bit, while the application is compiled for 64 bit. Can this be the reason? Does the EAP build support 32 bit architecture? Is there a chance that AppCode will ever support it?

Vasily,
I'll recompile the simlauncher for 32/64 processor.
Thanks for reporting.
Please check if this version works for you.

Anton,
Thanks for help, but I still get the same error. I run Mac OS X on my notebook with x86 Intel Core Duo processor.
Hmm... this one should do the trick.
Please let me know if it helps.

That worked for me (I encountered the same error as OP, using Core Duo 1.83 cpu). Another executable that is failing is IBNotifierD - would it be possible to recompile it as well? I can't wait to fully test AppCode :-) I am not sure when the other ones are used (relaunch, fsnotifier) but I guess they're not compiled for 32-bit as well (no errors so far, just a gut feeling).
Thanks, this one helped. And, yes, I am also curious about other binary tools, and whether it all will work in final release :)
We'll rebuild other binaries for the next eap.
