PyCharm and Van Dyke SecureCRT

new to pyCharm, I use python to dabble in various admin/network chore small scripts mainly run off linux boxes using ipython or just plain python. Would like to step up my game a bit and am trying pyCharm as my IDE of choice for both Windows & Linux. One of my desires is to use the python scripting abilities of Van Dyke Software SecureCRT product on my Windows PC - has anyone done this? SecureCRT seems to use python26.dll and/or the contents of python26.zip to actually run python and all the example make use of the "crt" module which my vanilla python 2.7.5 install does not find of course. I tried pointing pyCharm to a unzipped directory of python 2.6 I created from the zip file, but I could not find the actual .exe file
