Closing the tip of the day with keyboard shortcut

When I open IntelliJ, the focus is on "Tip of the day", which makes closing with keyboard possible. But for some reason, PyCharm does not have it on focus upon launch. and I could not figure out how I could switch the focus with keyboard shortcut. I tried Alt-F1 and Ctrl-Tab. Is there a way to do this? Is this a bug and should I report it?
