Newibe: Did I screw up by trying to install an interpreter on a plane without Internet?

I am a newbie to Python using PyCharm on a Mac.

I was trying to set up PyCharm for first use while I was on an airplane with out Internet access.

When I tried to add Python 2.7.2 to PyCharm, I got a lot of errors about missing files. When I saw the errors, I didn't pursue it further, because I didn't know what to do next.

Are these files that would have been downloaded from the Internet?

If so, how do I fix it?

Thanks!

What errors exactly did you get? Normally, configuring a Python interpreter in PyCharm does not require Internet access.

Stupid me didn't write them down. Knowing that I did not require Internet access, I think I will move forward and see what happens. Thank you for replying so quickly. Impressive.
