Can't start Mercurial: C:\Program Files\Mercurial\hg.exe

Probably the path to hg executable is not valid. Fix it. (show balloon)

I have tried to locate hg.exe in both 'C:\Program Files\Mercurial\hg.exe' and also 'C:\Program Files\TortoiseHg\hg.exe' but none work.

Make sure that 'C:\Program Files\Mercurial\hg.exe' exists and that you can launch it from the command line.

On at least some of my windows installs, the PATH environment must be set so that hg.exe can find the correct libraries: this is the case with my recent install of ananconda python where I had my mercurial installed as well. hg.exe worked in pycharm when anaconda python was on the system PATH but not otherwise
