Moving down/up the File list in Switcher using Emacs keybindings

The help says to bring up the switcher when using Emacs bindings, you use "C-x b", which works just fine. But now the help documents say to move up and down the list of files, you use C-n and C-p. Those don't seem to do anything. I am able to use the arrow keys to move up and down, but that isn't helpful since I want to keep my hands on the home row of the keyboard.

I tried looking through the keymap for "switcher" and "file", but couldn't find anything that would seem to drive the selecting of those files.
