PyCharm 3.x to 4.x Upgrade Local History Missing
Hello,
Upgrading from PyCharm last night from 3.4.1 to 4.0, my local history for projects has disappeared. I made sure to retain all my application data during the 3.x uninstall and I used the 'import' feature (pointed to my .Pycharm30 directory) when launching 4.x for the first time. I also tried deleting my LocalHistory files in 4.x and replacing them with my known good, no success.

I have had exactly the same problem and I see that the history is wiped when you do an upgrade. It is very poor that there is no warning when potentially valuable data is thus destroyed.
