PyCharm 4 upgrade - where are my old settings?

I upgraded to 4.0.1 from 3.4.1 on Win 7.  The installer can't find my old settings file with stuff like theme and fonts sizes.  When I was forced to choose to import old settings from a custom area, I couldn't find any either.  Did the installer delete them before using them?

While working with PyCharm, you've definitely customized the IDE settings (for example, editor behavior, or keyboard shortcuts) to fit your needs. Having installed and launched a newer version of PyCharm

Yes. Many customizations - theme, fonts, keyboard shortcut, plugin.  Also project configurations like remote server and content root.  I have back ups, but don't find <User home>\.PyCharm3X\config
