Downloading Files from Remote Server

I want to confirm the correct process.
I have a remote server with my code on before I purchased pycharm. It is also using django and virtual env.

1. Do I create a project (plain python)
2. Set a remote server
3. Set a remote interpeter
4. Download the files (can you confirm process)
