How to configure directories for find-usages to ignore?

Hi,

I've got my project built up of different git repositories and I'm using git-repo (https://code.google.com/p/git-repo/) to operate on them. Unfortunately if I try to use "find usages" it looks in the .repo directory as well.. in there it'll find all of the content of the git repositories (for instance the directory .repo/project-objects/myproject.git etc)

is it possible to tell clion that it should ignore .repo ? (that's my scm metadata repository so I assume it won't have much use of the content in there anyway ;-))

Trond,

try to configure Find Usages settings. In the main menu, choose Edit | Find | Find Usages Settings and select an option, other than Project File. For example, choose Current File or Open Files.
Please, let me know the results.

That would work, but it would be nice to be able to globally mask out some directories to have clion completely ignore them.

In addition to the .repo directories I'm getting hits for I've also got some directories containing source code in Erlang, some with build artifacs etc. I see that I've got ~3k files with C/C++ code I'd like it to care about (yes I could potentially modify my directory layout after checking out the code just to be able to work efficiently in clion, but...... )

Cheers,

Trond
