Not sure the question was answered here, but in Settings or Preferences, go to Keymap, then search for next tab or click the far-right magnifying glass and hit the keyboard combination you want and take it from there.
The next/previous settings are under Editor Tabs as Select Next Tab and Select Previous Tab.
My default was Switcher, which is unlike browser tabs and not useful to me.
If you mean Switch to the Next/Previous tab then the shortcuts are as following:
- Select Next Tab: Ctrl+Right (Windows/Linux) or Meta+Shift+Close Bracket
- Select Previous Tab: Ctrl+Left (Windows/Linux) or Meta+Shift+Open Bracket
Find the full keymap in Setting (Preferences for OS X) | Keymap.
i think the switching tabs is like chrome. However, i donnt know how to do it.
windows 10:
shift right one tab: alt+right arrow key
shift left one tab: alt+left arrow key
Well, this might not quite be what you want as it only works when you want to switch of splits on the screen. On Mac it's option tab.
