PyCharm Idle Wake Ups (Mac OS X)
Answered
I have a problem with using the latest PyCharm on my MacBook Pro.
The software seems to literally drain the battery life (even in the "Power Saver Mode").
I figured the reason for this might be the large number of Idle Wake Ups as soon as a script is running.
A for loop over 10 items wakes up the CPU about 11 times.
Is this behaviour the cause for the battery drain?
I really fell in love with the PyCharm editor and would love to continue to use it.

Hello.
PyCharm processes output of any script it runs, so if you run script in PyCharm if will definitely wake up system.
If you see high "energy impact" in Activity Mionitor for PyCharm you may take cpu snapshot and send it to JetBrains
