cannot type square brackets in PHPStorm terminal since 2016.3

Since upgrading from 2016.2 to 2016.3 in PHP Storm Context (especially PHP-Storm Terminal) I cannot enter "[" and "]" anymore. The bracket is shown for short, but then automatically deleted again. As I use [] in GIT commit messages and as I do my git commands on the terminal this is bad. :(

GIT commit in PHPStorm IDE works, also with []. And of course, the brackets work as usual in my systems terminal.
