Can't install Php Storm 2016.3 on Mac OSx Sierra

Hi, 

I am trying to install PhpStorm 2016.3 on Mac OSx Sierra, but it is not doing nothing. When i click on the downloaded .dmg file, nothing happens. 

 

Can anybody please advice?

Hello,

Is it being mounted and visible on desktop?

Did you allow 3rd-party applications as per https://rampagedev.wordpress.com/os-x-tweaks/app-cant-be-opened-because-it-was-not-downloaded-from-the-mac-app-store-fix-2/ ?

Hello, 

Thanks for the reply. If i try to mount it, it still does not work, event it does not mount. 

Yes, third party applications are enabled to be installed on my MAC.

Try to:

1) restart OS

2) redownload DMG file

3) create a new user account, and check if the application launches under it

Hi, 

After restarting the machine, it worked. Normally my machine is not restarted for weeks :P.  It was the main issue. 

It is working fine now.
