Project handling inconsistent compared to other JB products
In IntelliJ (and PyCharm, Webstorm, CLion etc) I get a welcome dialog with my recent projects. I can switch to another project by substituting the current project or open a new window. Closing the last project directs me to the welcome dialog - all good.
In 0xDBE the last project is always opened (regardless of the setting in the preferences), closing the last project quits the app. This is very confusing. All other Jetbrains desktop products I know start with a welcome dialog and a list of projects - for consistency within the whole product line I would expect this behaviour in 0xDBE as well. Or do I miss some configuration setting?

Hello Peter,
>In 0xDBE the last project is always opened (regardless of the setting in the preferences)
If Reopen last project on startup option is enabled IDE opens last project which was opened. If disabled - the default project is always opened. This is expected behavior. Doesn it work differently for you?
Thsi is expected that some workflow between different IntelliJ-based IDEs could be different and is more suitable/convenient for solving specific tasks. Please see http://stackoverflow.com/a/13829907/2000323 for some more information.
He means the database field stores JSON and he'd like to be able to point at a database field and say, 'show me the contents of this string field as formatted and syntax highlighted json'.
Thanks. Answered in another thread :) https://devnet.jetbrains.com/message/5565299#5565299
I have been working with IntelliJ and other Jetbrains products for some 10 years and have my expectations - I do not see a reason why one product would implement a different startup strategy (fallback to default project), is all. That's why I found (and still find) it confusing when I tried out 0xDBE.
