Oracle PLSQL - Hangs

Hey,

When coding plsql / oracle, I experience that the editor frequently hangs for some milliseconds, making it quite annoying to code.

The package is about 500-1000 lines, on a Oracle 11g.

Hello,

Could you please take CPU snapshots at the very moment of this slow activity as described here https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206827577 and attach it togenter with content of the log folder ( https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/206827517 ) for the investigation. Thanks!

Hey,

here you  go.

Currently I experienced and incredible lag in the editor.

I've got a simple select statement which I want to change, and whatever I have typed appears on the screen some milliseconds later.

Basically I type, sit back, then it appear ... if that makes sense?

Otherwise I really love this tool

Hope it helps.

Thanks. Please follow the https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/DBE-1524 .

How large is the file - is it the package with 500-1000 lines? As a workaround set highlighting level for the file to syntax https://www.jetbrains.com/idea/help/changing-highlighting-level-for-the-current-file.html

Would be great (if possible) to have the sample file where you have these lags to reproduce and fix the performance problem (you can attach it to YouTrack issue visible to developers only).

It also happens in the "console" file, as well as in the Packages.

I am only editing a simple "Select statement", like "select * from dial" .... that kind of simple ...
