Imported project, now inspections don't work. How to fix?

I have a Java project that uses sbt.  I installed the sbt and scala plugins and imported the project in Idea 14.  Everything is working fine except my Java code inspections don't work anymore.  For example, typos are not highlighted/underlined nor are any errors.  I double checked the inspections in Settings and they ARE enabled.  How do I correct this?  Do I need to create the project in a different way?  I also tried File -> new project -> Scala -> SBT and that didn't work correctly either.

Thanks for any help.

EDIT: I did notice that if I right click a java src directory and UNmark as sources root and then remark it as sources root, all my inspections then work under that directory.  This seems like a bug.

Can you provide example project?

I cannot give you the project in which I'm seeing this, as it isn't mine to give.  Like I said, there's a workaround wherein resetting the src directory as Sources Root will fix the issue but it comes back again when the SBT build is reloaded.  If I need to be more descriptive on the problem, please let me know.

Thanks.

Can you provide log file? (Help -> Show log)
We can't fix it without reproducible example (as I can't reproduce it), but probably log file contains some clue.

Sure, here's the log.  During the time this log was made, I marked a src directory as Source Root, closed Idea, cleaned my project, opened Idea, and my inspections stopped working.

Try to disable third-party SBT plugin, which brings SBT console to IDEA, it seems broken.
