Can't compile anything Idea 13

IDEA version 132.556
Plugin version 0.23.255

Every file has at least one error that looks like this:

EFLConst is already defined as object EFLConst
object EFLConst {
        ^

I invalidated the caches, no help.

So I updated to 0.23.259 and tried a completely brand new project.

IDEA says it compiled, but it didn't actually write any ".class" files.
Not very helpful.

I have attached idea.log and build.log, on the off chance they say
something useful.

Latest stable Scala plugin that I have that works great for me with the latest Cardea (132.719) is 0.23.252.  Perhaps try that version?  I use it daily as my main development environment and have not had any major issues with it.

I've had difficulty with any of the other nightlies - including the 24.60 build that was attached to one of the EAPs - I had to force it to downgrade to 0.23.252 to get things working.

Unfortunately, 0.23.252 did not fix my problem.

We've recently updated the bundled SBT compiler, however it seems that the problem with compilation started much earlier. We'll check that, thank you for reporting.

Serge Baranov correctly identified the source of the problem. See this:

http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/SCL-6202

And note that this is not Scala specific because I found that it affects
Java files as well.
