lift is red

i started developing some random small pages using lift. can the current plugin handle the source code of lift? in my combination of nightly plugin + idea eap, there are many, many false positives.
should i
a) report them ALL
b) just wait

HoD,

A great deal of the Lift source code is red for me, too. I just ignore it. Of course, it's even worse if you turn on Type-Aware Highlighting.

Don't submit if it's a duplicate of one of the known bugs with Lift in IDEA.

Otherwise, try to submit a standalone example, along the lines of http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/SCL-2981

My advice would be:

1. Try a search in YouTrack to see if something obvious pops up.

2. If nothing comes up, ask here.

3. If nobody points you to an existing issue, then file one.

4. If you file an issue relating to Lift, post a comment in the Lift
mailing list so that other Lift people will know about it and can vote
for it.

In general, it is better to file an issue - even a duplicate - than to
not file it and the problem not be corrected.

Main problem with red code now is still problems with path dependent types.
Anyway please vote for issues, which cause for you more troubles then others.
