Terminal does not accept special characters

Hi,

I would like to use the integrated local / remote terminal in WebStorm, but it doesn't accept all input. For example I can't type a @ £ or $ sign with AltGr + 2 / 3 / 4, nothing happens. Same goes for almost all special characters. I have a Finnish keyboard.

What's your version exactly?

Please try latest EAP build -- it should be fixed there: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-115276

WebStorm 2016.3.1
Build #WS-163.7743.51, built on November 22, 2016
Licensed to WebStorm Evaluator
Expiration date: January 2, 2017
JRE: 1.8.0_112-release-408-b2 x86
JVM: OpenJDK Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o

 

And yes I quickly tried out the new EA build and it seems to fix the issue. I hope it will come to release build soon. Thanks.
