Hi,

the problem is not reproducible for me but I'd check color settings (Settings|Editor|Colors and Fonts|Ruby) and I'd also check that a regular hash is correctly highlited.
If you are sure you use default color scheme then please attache RubyMine's log (Help|Show Logs in ...)

Well, this is expected behavior.  Not all highlightings are available in save battery mode.

one hash is highlighted but other not ? it is really strange. I will agree with you if old hash will not be highlighted, but now it is inconsequence

Please do not forget that this can be also keyword argument in a new version of ruby.  This is why its highlighting implemented differently.
This approach is not perfect but resolves other problems.

ok I understand, but for example in sublime text it look much better, and sublime text not need so much power like rubymine
