Focus stolen from RubyMine 5.0.2 when switching spaces on mac osx 10.7.5

I just installed RubyMine 5.0.2 on my Macbook running osx 10.7.5 and I am coming across a strange bug. Sometimes when I change spaces to the space RubyMine is in, the focus immediately changes to another application.

If RubyMine is in fullscreen mode, the Desktop might grab the focus, automatically switching to the Desktop space.

If I have RubyMine in windowed mode, a window from an application behind RubyMine might pop to the top.

The strange thing is it doesn't happen all the time and it only happens if I am switching spaces by swiping the trackpad or using the keyboard shortcut. I have never seen it happen if I open mission control and click on the space RubyMine is occupying.

Also, like I said, it doesn't happen all the time, but when it is happening, it will happen every time I swipe to change to the RubyMine space. I can't really get a bead on why it starts or stops happening, though.

Anyone know why this might be happening or experiencing anything similar?

FYI, this is my first time using RubyMine 5. I had RubyMine 4 installed, but I rarely used it. I feel like this same thing may have happened during the limited time I used RubyMine 4, but I can't remember.

Quick Update:

It seems to only happen when a second window (a settings window, for instance) is open.
