Renaming css identifiers never works - always says "invalid identifier"

Howdy,

Trying to refactor a bunch of css identifiers (in .scss files) and whenever I select an identifier and do a Refactor Rename (Ctrl - R), the dialog that pops up has a red ligthning bolt messsage that says "<identifier> is invalid identifier" (replacing <identifier> for the actual identifier I want to rename.  The dialog has no replacement name field and the refactor & preview button are disabled.

At first, I thought it just didn't like the naming style, but I've tried it on every form of identifier I can find, including a simple text string (no punctuation or special characters) and the same result every time.

I have a *lot* of identifiers that need to be refactored now that the project is maturing.  Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to make the refactor/rename function work on css/scss identifiers?

Thanks,

Gerry

Hi Gerry,

At the moment I can't suggest workaround for this. I've created issue about it, feel free to vote: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RUBY-12108

Thanks for confirming the issue and the really quick turn-around on getting it addressed.  I'll try to hold off brute-forcing things until 4.5.5 is released.

Thanks again!

Gerry
