EAP Install - Default to new folder Follow
Is there a reason why the default RM installer chooses a destination folder using the rubymine version (thus creating a new, parallel install)?
Am I safe to overwrite a previous install or uninstall a previous version of RM?
(Rubymine for Windows)

HI Steve,
Since the EAP and BETA versions are not fuill releases they may have bugs in them; therfore you may need to go back to the full version that is left in tact for such a situation. This is common practice for 'preview' or 'test' versions of software originating from many vendors.
There is nothing stopping you from uninstalling the full release version if you wish, but if you then need to fall back to it you will need to re-install.
Hope that helps,
Geoff
