Flex Support

Flex is a viable interface for Ruby on Rails.

Intellij has excellent flex support. Any chance we will see Flex support integrated in to RubyMine?

No. RubyMine will stay a pure Ruby/Rails IDE. If you want to use Ruby and
Flex together, you're welcome to use IntelliJ IDEA with the Ruby plugin.

Bummer.  I was hoping to find Flex support baked into RubyMine in a manner similar to how it is baked into IntelliJ as well.  Its not an uncommon configuration.  JetBrains should reconsider this and deliver it as core functionality.

Hello Robert,

You're welcome to use IntelliJ IDEA with the Ruby plugin installed if you
need to use Ruby and Flex together. Each of our language-specific IDEs is
focused on supporting one specific language and technology stack; if you
need more than one, IntelliJ IDEA is the product to use.
