GWT SDK

From what I can figure the Google GWT SDK http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/learnmore-sdk.html basically produces javascript but it apparently requires java.

Doe this mean I have to use Intellij 9 to use it or is there a subset I can use with rubymine?

I tried the demo of intellij but found it too much and too bulky for my needs which are basically ruby, html, css and now some GWT.

Hello Tom,

GWT applications are written in Java, so you have to use IntelliJ IDEA to
develop GWT applications. Full support for GWT is included in IntelliJ IDEA
Ultimate.
