Textmate Command "Esc" (to complete a word) [u can vote!]
In Textmate, there is a very useful shortcut, I wonder, if I didn't find it or if it isn't there,
because, I can't barely without it.
Is it possible to complete a word, when a begin typing?
With ESC you can cycle through all words already used in the scoped file.
Anybody knows something?
thnx
Rafael

cool, thnx! I did :-)
Hello Rafael,
Please try Alt-slash (for "stupid" completion which works the same as Esc
in TextMate) or Control-Space (for smart syntax-aware completion).

unfortunatelly I didn't find the shortcut though.
is it really implemented?
I haven't found it in the prefrences either.
because I have a german keyboard layout, the shortcut would work anyway?
can I set this on another shortcut?
thnx a lot
Which one?
Yes, sure!
1. Open RM | File | Settings | Keymap
2. Create a copy of your default keymap
3. * Stupid completion - All Actions | Main menu | Code | Complete Code | Cyclic Expand Word
* Smart completion - All Actions | Main menu | Code | Complete Code | Basic
4. Use add/remove shortcuts buttons
Finally I got the time to set it up...
thnx a lot!!!! I got my most used Textmate Feature back (blush)
