Disable stepping into Rails Source

Hi,

Is it possible to disable RubyMine stepping into the Rails source while using the debugger? Its not a major nuisance but just something I'd like to stop happening when I'm occasionally stepping through code...

Thanks!

Could you please describe your workflow with debugger? You can just use  "Run To Cursor" action within your debug session to pass all the Rails codeinsigth. In some cases it's very useful to explore what is happening inside Rails.

Hi Oleg,

A case of this happening might be where I am stepping through a controller action which comes up to a respond_to block - if I use step into or step over it will jump into the Rails framework code. Another case might be when calling ModelName.find_or_create_by_<attribute>(...)

Thanks,

Matthew

This seems quite useful, I've filed an issue: http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/RUBY-4847
Please vote, comment and track progress of it.Most likely we'll add such feature after 1.5 final relase.
