Will RubyMine be available for free?
Will RubyMine be available for free when the final version launches?
We are in the process of building a Eclipse-based plugin for our product, aiding in it's development.
The major reason for this isn't that Eclipse is such a great framework, it's because it's available for free.
Using IntelliJ for all Java development, developing this plugin on JetBrains/IntelliJ technology would be great.

Hello Carl,
No, RubyMine will be a commercial product. (I don't quite follow your reasoning
- it's a Ruby IDE, so I don't see how it can help in developing plugins for
Eclipse.)

Hi Dmitry!
Thanks for the reply.
What price range are we talking about? Considering it's feature set, I suspect the price won't be as much (/little? :) you charge for the full IntelliJ IDE?
Regarding Eclipse, it's actually a Python/Ruby plugin for Eclipse (along with some other non-Java tools we've developed)
