Using hg4idea, how does one add the URL of the remote repository?

After a while, I have managed to get the Mercurial integration in Intellij working almost perfectly, except for the fact that I cannot push changes.

I commit them just fine, but then when I go to the Push dialog all it says is "default -> Enter Remote" in the left pane, and "No Commits Selected" in the right pane.

I feel like I have searched everywhere in the program and I've tried to google my problem in a dozen different ways but I cannot find out how to actually enter the remote repository URL.

It works just fine in TortoiseHg, and for now I can just commit changes from within IntelliJ and push them using TortoiseHg but I'd rather have everything in one program.

I'm on Windows 8.1, using IntelliJ IDEA 14.1.6, and hg4idea version 10.0

Can anyone help me out? Surely this can't be as complicated as it seems.

Thanks in advance.

Hi!

Unfortunately, there is no way to add a remote path from IntelliJ now. You could vote for the appropriate ticket https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-150823.

As a temporary workaround, please add the appropriate path to your .hg/hgrc file.

example of hgrc file:

[paths]
default = repositoryURL
