PL/SQL Remote debugging

Hi,

can you tell me. please, if you have any plans to implement the ability to debug PL/SQL packages / java in Oracle? As I understand this is implemented only in JDeveloper and can be useful addition to current debug functionality in IDEA.

Thank you

The only thing I can say now is that it is one of possible development directions
for IDEA 7 and beyond. We don't have any more definite plans for it now.

I'm on IntelliJ 13 and have tried 14 EAP. I believe the datasource utility is showing only Tables and Views. I have plsql packages that are not showing at all. Search this forum for PL/SQL and there are questions as old as 2006/2008 that are stating this feature(lack of) is a known issue. Has this been resolved? Can you update these postings to reflect the current status and timline for fixing missing packages within a schema?I see also that the limitation is claimed to be the JDBC driver. Oracle SqlDeveloper uses the same JDBC driver that I have in my project, so I'm not sold on that limitation.
