[ANN] Code Review Plugin 1.3.0

A new version of the Code Review plugin is available. For some reason it
doesn't show up as 'updated' in the plugin manager, but if you install it
anyway the update should work OK (does anyone know why this is?)

The new version contains the following changes:

v1.3.0 for IDEA 7.x and up (August 4th 2009)
===========================================

  • Copy to clipboard button. This copies the HTML and/or plaintext

to the clipboard.

  • SMTPS/SSL support. This allows the plugin to work with mailservers

such as GMail.

  • When a file has been renamed, the diff now shows what

it was renamed to.

  • The subject defaults to the (first 100 characters of)

the commit message.

  • Passwords weren't being decoded properly when settings were first

loaded.

  • Long subjects were causing the drop-downs to extend past the

RHS of the Code Review dialog.

  • Pressing CTRL-ENTER when the focus was on the subject drop-down

could result in changes to the subject being lost.

  • The Cancel button now returns the user to the Commit Changes

dialog rather than the editor.

If you have any problems or comments please let me know.

Regards,
Chris

Gmail support is great! Any plan to support i18n for email subject and body? Now international character can not be displayed well.

I've just tried making a few changes to and add UTF-8 encoding to the emails
being sent. I'm a bit unsure how reliable this is given the vast range of
mail servers out there, but seems to work well enough in my quick tests at
least. Have a go with v1.3.1 and let me know what you think. If you still
have problems, feel free to send a code review email directly to me and I'll
take a look at it.
