IntelliJ RCP
Does anyone know if there are plans to offer RCP foundation of IntelliJ as a product? I'm currently investigating a number of frameworks (which must support pluging in of a new language). From what I can tell (via the tutorials), IntelliJ by far makes this the easiest (as compared to NetBeans).
Thanks,

What could be neat is a Netbeans Platform plugin/wizard/facet. Or
Spring RCP...
Why reinvent?

There are also no plans to rebuild IntelliJ IDEA on a different RCP.

I never meant to rebuild IDEA using a different RCP, but to provide
integration TO those RCPs for developers to use.

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood. We don't have any near-term plans to create such
plugins either, but at least this idea makes quite a lot of sense. :)

Of course the former could make an amusing April Fools joke - after
JBuilder ported to Eclipse, having IDEA port to Netbeans as a plugin
could make an amusing joke.
Of course, the plugin would replace every part of Netbeans apart from
the docking system - cause thats all that everyone really cares about :)
