problems posting plugin update

I have encountered this problem when posting an update to a plugin:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/www/beta.plugins.intellij.net/classes/Manager.class.php on line 604

Any ideas?

Is anyone from JetBrains out there? This is very frustrating because I cannot release the plugin until this is resolved. I have tried different operating systems, ISPs, and browsers, but nothing works. This leads me to believe that there is something wrong with the site or my zip, but the zip was created with IDEA, just like it always has been...

Don't know whether this is related, but it might:

I have had troubles with the PHP scripts on the plugin pages in the past that apparently had to do with my last name containing a non-ASCII character ('ß') which I had placed in the plugin.xml file; even though I had declared the charset to be ISO-8859-1, the scripts completely messed up with some not really informative error message (I dont recall the exact wording).
Since then, I always replace that character with a double 's' to avoid this kind of trouble.

You might check whether your plugin.xml contains some "unusual" data like that.

HTH,
Jens
