RegexPlugin: Need "Copy as plaintext" option

Cool plugin, but it needs a "Copy as plaintext" option since I'm not
always editing regex for pasting into Java code.

Agreed, right now you can't cut and paste into the regex editor
correctly either.

Personally I prefered the old behaviour where we only performed the more
complex convert to Java string when it was selected from the menu.

Any plans to change it? You could offer a different shortcut
(Ctrl-Shift-C?) for Copy as Java String and keep Ctrl-C as the regular copy.

That sounds like a good idea. I'll talk to Christian. He's done all of
the work on this for a while now.

Any movement on this? I know it's been a while, but this would still be a great modification. I frequently use the regex plugin tweak a regex I'm using for search and replace, in which case the conversion to java string just gets in the way.

Additionally, doesn't IDEA now have a "paste-with-conversion" feature anyway? So rather than converting to a java string when I copy, I convert when I paste. They regex plugin doesn't need to worry about this at all.
