DC tab - what is this?

Hi...

occasionally I get a tab called DC on the bottom part, I have only simpleUML
and IDETalk plugins installed, is one of them creating this? It shows only a
close button and a trashcan and you can type text into it. Wha tis it
intended for?

Any ideas?

Ciao

I got that, too. I don't have IDETalk installed. It appeared after
migration to 5.1 for the first time.

This is the DebugConsole Window of simpleUML. You can show it using ctrl-alt-shift-D
when focus is in a classdiagram. It redirects System.out/System.err of Idea
to the TextArea in the ToolWindow. This was quite handy when developing and
debugging simpleUML. Pressing ctrl-alt-shift-O in a classdiagram prints some
infos (FQN, selection state) of the open classes, but probably nothing really
useful for users.

I'm sorry, this wasn't supposed to go into the release version of
simpleUML.

As Martin mentioned, this is a window which captures System.out (I
didn't know that you can bring it up with a shortcut, so I just
registered it in the plugin.xml) You can close it safely.
