Deleting outdated files...

I just recently switched to v12 and I cannot compile my plugin project under one minute now.

When I press debug, I get "Make" and then for one minute it sits at "Deleting outdated files..." then runs.

It seems like it is trying to delete jars that are included in the sandbox for the plugin, does this make sense? Do I have something setup wrong?

In v11.1 debugging was instant unless I changed a file, I know there has to be something I am doing wrong in the change from 11 to 12.

Do you have external make enabled in the compiler settings?

I see Use external build and yes, that is checked.

The problem definitly has to do with about 8 jars that get included as external libraries in the plugin. Those jars look like they are getting copied to the plugins's sand box but, The error actually says "Artifact builder can't delete jar" and it prints this message for every jar in the event pane during compile.

Somehow I fixed this by re-entering the libraries in the module properties.

Still don't exactly know what I was doing wrong. Like I said, I had changed nothing on my end, but obviously something is processed different from 11 to 12 that did change.

Just to follow up on this, I ended up making a brand new project from IDEA 12, re-established all library deps and source paths.

Doing this solved the compile issues, don't know why, there must have been something left over from the conversion of the v11 project to v12 project initially.
