Duralim, Windows 2000 and the menu bar

As one can see from the attached graphic, the background color of the
menu bar looks on the gray global background a little bit pink (I cannot
say, whether it IS pink). Could this be also plain gray? Thanks in advance.

I've noticed that with Duralim/Win2K.

Without Duralim, still on Win2K with Alloy L&F the menubar has the
same issue but the color is some light blueish rather than pink.

Same applies to the Ctrl-N-popup.

I've noticed it, but it seems that the Alloy LaF calculates this value
from the 3D Faces value. I guess that they just add a fixed number to
the color components of the base color. On the other hand, in
AlloyTheme, there are ~20 obfuscated getters which might give me finer
control over the appearance, but I don't really have the to play with it.

Still, my best hopes are the author of Alloy LnF to provide a native
theme, which takes the color and font values from the AWT Toolkit. It's
pretty easy to implement and this whole plugin is a hack.

cheers,
Dimitar
