Changes: - IDEA 5.0 (Irida) port of latest plugin version (1.11).
Hmm, I can't figure out how to use the remote deployment. When I create a new remote run-config all I can see is "Deployment Method: Local" even though I have other methods defined in the IDE settings. See the screenshot.

The list of available methods changes as soon as you enter the target host name. As long as you are deploying to 'localhost' you don't need another deployment method than Local. See some more details here: http://www.intellij.net/forums/thread.jsp?forum=18&thread=123722

Ah, thanks. I had read the details but didn't realize that those settings were linked to each other. I was trying to configure the dialog from the top so I got stuck on the deployment method. I think the UI would be more intuitive if the deployment method came after or inside the Remote Connection settings panel.

I completely agree, but unfortunately IDEA doesn't let me do that. The remote connection panel is added automatically by IDEA below the plugin-specific panel.

Am I doing something wrong?
