A couple I've thought of to put in the pot:
1) A method that overrides another and doesn't call
super.]]>. Of course this is perfectly legal and not a bug if
intended, and I probably wouldn't have this on all the time, but as code
is done like this relatively rarely (well it is in my code at least ;)
), it would be useful as an offline inspection for sanity check purposes.
2) An overridden method with just a call to super, with no change of
permission or extra comments/doc. It is often a bit of debug code (for
convenience in placing breakpoints) that has been left behind.
ps. Congrats for your official inclusion into IDEA 4.1! I'm hoping
they're giving you a free lifetime license for your efforts ;)
