[Request] Rearranger-Save config by project or at least in separate file.

We would like to use a standard class layout across the team. Right now the settings are stored with other application settings in the other.xml. This does not lend itself easily to sharing the layout definition.
Could you change it to be project based and not application based?
I believe it makes more sense since we might work simultaneously on multiple projects that have different standard layouts.

My preference then would be to have it stored with the project file and not the workspace file (People can change that behavior by modifying the plugin.xml in the plugin jar)

Great plugin Dave!

+1....
And what would be also great possiblity to import/export setting for layout... so that , one can use the same layout for different projects, and what is more vital for different Aurora builds

Thanks a lot

What do you mean? If it is part of the Project files it won't be a problem since it won't be with the IDE config.
BTW you can copy your config directory when you upgrade: install from scratch in a new directory, then copy your config directory (if you maintain your config directory somewhere else than your home directory obviously)

I used to keep tabifier settings per project long ago before someone asked for it to be application wide. :) So it shouldn't be hard to go back. I wonder if the best solution would be to do what IntelliJ did with code style; you can have it either way (per project or application), and can export or import project settings. I haven't researched to see exactly where those exported settings are saved, but would guess that a file specified by the user would be acceptable.
