Disabling auto refresh in history view

I mentioned this in a post last month, but did not get any clear response. I've implemented VcsHistoryProvider in my plugin, and it works fine overall. The problem I have with it is its automatic refreshing of revisions, specifically on focus changes. I really would rather it not do that. It was suggested to override VcsHistorySession#allowAsyncRefresh, but it doesn't seem to matter whether that method returns true or false.

So essentially what I want is to only allow refresh of the revisions when the user presses the refresh button. Is this possible?

Thanks.

Hello lstahlm,

Yes. Pressing the Refresh button doesn't actually call VcsHistorySession.refresh()
- rather, it gets a whole new session and initializes the dialog from it.
Thus, all you need to do in order to disable automatic refresh is to return
false from your refresh() method.
